A Little About Me

My fascination with words began when my dad challenged me to play a competitive word game when I was a kid. You know the one – where you use letters from a single word to create more words than your opponent before the buzzer screams. Speed, creativity, adrenaline. I was hooked! My fascination quickly snowballed into an obsession. Secretly, I started to peruse the dictionary to outwit my dad. Even when I wasn’t victorious, I won. We won. Our time together, the prize.

Fast forward to my sophomore year of high school. My dad, the word game warrior, lost his battle with cancer. Heartbroken, I turned to the familiarity writing words feverishly. This time, from a place of uninhibited grief and vulnerability. My AP English papers became raw, real and relatable. And I liked it! My teacher, Ms. Hoose, took notice and introduced me to persuasive speech writing and the art of semantics. I kept writing, never wanting to stop. So, I didn’t.

For more than 20 years, I’ve spearheaded omnichannel campaigns for both start-up companies and globally recognized brands. I’m known for creating high-impact content and compelling brand stories, made human. Crafted to convey a brand’s deep understanding of their audiences’ diverse needs. Strategically designed to increase brand awareness, market share and brand loyalty. My areas of industry expertise include financial services, education, architecture/design, fashion, food, wellness, and gift.
